Fairport

This morning Nicki (a reps wife) and I made breakfast for the office:) Last night I made dinner for the office and it was nice to meet everyone. I think I am really going to like it here. They have some awesome guys that are so nice and sweet. (But I still miss all my gals in Texas)
Well everyone was right, I do love it here in New York. I think its because we are in this cute city called Fairport and not the BIG city of New York.

Fairport is a lot like Virginia in the sense that everywhere you go there are trees everywhere.
We dont have washer and dryers in our apt, but each unit has some in the basement so its not a far walk.
I am not going to lie its a little creepy going into the basement to do the wash, not just because its the basement and there is weird sounds but also because you have to walk past these storage spots and I am scared someone is going to jump out one of these nights and grab me. Its Freaky

Yesterday while I was trying to find Wal-Mart I saw this sign for fresh fruit so today I decided to go pick some up:)
While I was driving to this farm I was driving past all these houses that have a TON of land, its very open and pretty here.
I love little markets. This one had cherries, strawberries and raspberries.
I got some cherries and raspberries:) Don't they look so good:)
After I picked up my fruit I went and fond this cute Palmyra, New York sweatshirt. We are going to the Hill Cumorah Pageant tonight and it gets chilly here at night, since I didn't bring a sweatshirt to blazing hot Texas I had to pick one up here:):)

I MADE IT!!!!!

Well I made it to New York last night and I walked into our new apt and found this. Joseph said he took a corner to sharp and our TV fell and broke. I usually don't like all the stuff he buys off of KSL but I really liked this TV a lot so I was sad.
Then Joseph takes me around our couch and shows me our real TV. I guess the couple that was in the apt before us had broken their TV and Joseph thought it would be funny to prank me:) It worked, and I must say it was a good prank:)

Here are some pics of our apt. These apt are a lot older then the ones in Texas but a lot bigger which I love. There is so much more storage space and bigger family room area. This is the hallway leading to our bathroom and bedroom.
Here is our kitchen and dinning area
Here is our family room, behind the couch is a ton more area.
This morning while Joseph and I drove to the store I saw this sign and had to take a picture:) I have never seen a speed limit sign that says VILLAGE:):)
At the store I saw this other sign I had to take a picture of:) I can just hear the commercial now.......Hate it when your kids grab candy when your in line to buy your groceries??? Go through this line where there is no candy to grab:):)
The weather here is so nice I love it. The area is really cute too, I love the houses all around here they remind me of the old days:)
If anyone wants to come to New York you are welcome to come visit. You can stay with me:) Just let me know:):)

Headed to New York

On wed my mom and I both flew out. She went back home to Utah and I headed to New York

I had a lay over in South Carolina and I loved the airport there. They had these rocking chairs for moms to rock their babies.
In the bathrooms they had mints, mouth wash, and "girl products" :)
They also had this huge airplane just hanging in the middle of the airport. It was cool:)
So once I get to New York I wait for the managers wife Brooke to come pick me up and some crazy guy walks up to me. (Remember this is the first impression I get of a New Yorker) He tells me he is terrified and has a brain injury. He goes on to tell me his life story of him being a drug addict and how he shot himself in the head (that explains his brain injury) has died three times and the third time he was in a col ma his wife and daughter left him. His family all moved to New Mexico and he just arrived back from visiting there. Meanwhile his ride is not here and he knows where he lives and has cash. I tell him I just moved here and am also waiting for a ride. He goes on to explain his relationship with his family, how he hates his father and that he will never leave New York again because he is TERRIFIED. (little does he know he is terrifying the pee right out of me) Finally his service lady comes and gets him and he leaves repeating the whole story to her.
I thought there might be crazy people in New York but didn't know they would be that crazy:):)

Last week in Texas

So since my mom was coming down to visit I got to spend one more week in Texas with her and it was such a FUN week.
Ginger, one of the wives that was out with us, found this sweet deal for us. You get 30 min massage, 30 min facial, pedicure, waxing(eye brows and lip) and a shampoo, cut style and deep condition. All of that for only $35. So on Thursday my mom and I headed to the spa and got our massage and facials done:)

On Friday we went and got our waxing and pedicures done. It was so nice to relax:)
Me getting my feet done:)
On Friday Joseph was home because he had to pack up the car so he could leave on sat. Casey, Jason, Joseph, my mom and I all went to a movie and out to eat before Joseph, my mom and I started packing. There was no spots at the movie theater so of course Joseph made his own on the grass:)
Since I was leaving I picked up this cute Texas shirt to remember the good old times in San Antonio:)
My mom bought a nano straightener:)
Its as small as my hand:)
Old Navy had this killer deal, so on sat my mom and I went and got some stuff there
We got these stretchy capris for $9 when they were normally $16.50. We loved them so much we went back and got more:)
On Sunday we went to the river walk and strolled around and saw all the little shops
It was pretty windy that day, but it was nice to have a breeze:)
This pink cowgirl hat was fun to try on it had little frillies on it:)
Shake those mom Shake um:)
On Monday my mom treated me to a day at Sea World. I LOVED IT. Ever since I was little I have always wanted to be a dolphin trainer. Since I have never lived close enough to the ocean to get into that I choose a different major, but seeing the dolphins made me remember how much I really wanted to be a trainer.
Petting and feeding the dolphins was one of my favorite things to do there.

AHHHHH I just love those animals
These things make me think of the movie 7 pounds

We went to a seal show and it was funny and cute:) Its amazing the things these animals do.
Mom and I at SHAMO
The whole time I was watching this I was thinking 'That could have been me:)'
The people sitting in the first couple of rows got SOAKED when the shamos splashed them with their tales:)

Next we went and saw the dolphin show. It was neat they had acrobats doing some cool stuff.
Ahh they are so cute

We went to this 4D movie. We were in the line forever because something happened to a person in the show before. We were ROASTING
Mom Thank you so much for coming to visit me in Texas. I had such a fun week with you. You are such a great friend and an amazing mom. I love you so much. Hope to see you and dad in New York soon. Thanks again for such a fun filled week. Love Ya.

Never would have guessed!!!

WOW you will never guess what just happened. I get a call from Joseph and this is how our conversation went:

Joseph: Hey are you alone?
Me: Yep, what's up?
Joseph: Well Texas wont give me a licence to sell so we are moving to New York!!!!!!! (ok he did not say it quite like that but it was close:))
So Joseph will drive down to New York in the next couple of days. My mom is coming to visit me today until the 8th so we are going to go see everything we can here in San Antonio. On the 8th after my mom flys home to Utah I will get on a plane and fly to New York to meet Joseph.
SO New York here we come........

I am not going to lie I have never wanted to visit New York let alone live there. I have always thought New York would be a dirty place with to many people and to much traffic. Everyone says it beautiful there so I guess here is my chance to see what I will really think about it. One thing I do love is CSI: New York so that will be fun to live in the same place they film that show:):)

I am really sad about leaving Texas, I love everyone in our office so much and have made so many new friends. I am so sad I will not be here when Casey (Jason's Wife) has her baby. I was looking forward to babysitting at least a couple times this summer:( But I know things will all work out this summer no matter where Joseph and I go so I am going to enjoy my last week in Texas and then enjoy being able to see and live in New York:):)
