California here we come!

My grandparents live in California in the winter months! Last year we had a trip planned to go visit them, but it was the time Joseph just started his new job so we had to cancel it! So this year we planned to go down and made sure we didn't have to cancel it!


Before we left for Cali, Korver's friends Lanaea and Embree came over to play!!


Raquel can almost sit up by herself:)


Around 4 we packed up and headed to Vegas!!! Raquel is already to go! We left Korv home this trip!



We made it to Vegas in 4 1/2 hours! I didn't even think that was possible!



Here we are waiting for Joseph to check in before we walk into the smoke fest casino:)

In the morning we got up worked out and were back on the road:) Raquel was so good the whole time!



Tues night until Thursday afternoon Korv stayed with Tiff, Michael and Braden:) here is a picture Tiff sent me:) so cute



After about 5 hours we made it to Cali:) yippie



We had some yummy soup for dinner with my grandparents and Raquel was so tired! This is the first time she feel asleep for Joseph:)



When Raquel woke up my grandma took us out to see her new baby blue golf cart:) it's a beauty!

Thursday we got up and realized that Raquel was 6 months:) she is getting so big!



She is such a cutie!!



Raquel loves to chew on everything and loves to play with her tongue!



She is such a happy baby. She wakes up 2 to 3 times at night still, but I don't mind! She is the best baby!! We went to Costco and hung out with my Grandma in the morning...........



Then it was time to go swimming:) I got Raquel's cute swimsuit and cover up for only $8 I was pretty happy about it:)

Later in the afternoon my grandma took Raquel and I on a golf cart ride:) It was so fun

It was a little overcast and windy, but it was so much fun



Thursday night my grandpa made his famous steaks



Ohhhh it was so good I didn't want it to end!

Friday morning I woke up to a picture from Joseph's mom:) I really missed this little guy while we were gone:)



Raquel started her morning with a quick game:) I don't know what this game is called but it is so fun and addicting!



She loves the game just as much as I do!!



That afternoon Joseph helped my grandpa with his DVD player and.........



Raquel and I went on a walk!



Almost every house has a lemon, grapefruit or orange tree here. So I knocked on a house to see if they wouldn't mind if I picked a couple. A super nice woman about my age answered and she said "of course" gave me a picker and had me go pick as many as I wanted!

When I got back I squeezed me some lemon aid



It was delicious!



Funny story! On Thursday night my grandma and I went out to hot tub and it was cold! Joseph accidentally turned the switch to the boiler off so the whole time it was on it was not heating. We were freezing so we decided to try hot tubing Friday night!
Well I walked out to get in the hot tub Friday night and the hot tub was almost empty and it was spraying water everywhere! My grandpa had accidentally turned the pump in and it pumped all the water from the hot tub into the pool. We all got laughing so hard because every time we tried to hit tub something went wrong:)



Saturday morning we got up an went to the street fair:)

We stopped and grabbed a bite to eat. My yummy crepe



We got a bunch of good stuff and even my grandma and grandpa left with some stuff too



One of my favorite desserts at grandma and grandpas. Strawberries with lots and lots of whipping cream:)



Saturday and Sunday Korver stayed with my mom and dad! Saturday my mom took all the grand kids to Disney on Ice:) Here is a picture of Korv and his snow cone

Saturday night Joseph taught my grandma how to make a chocolate hard topper. We got laughing so hard because my grandpa was saying the funniest things!!I



Sunday we cleaned up and got ready to go! Grandma and Raquel before we left! I love my grandma so much she is one of my best friends:)

We decided to let Raquel start driving early:) ha ha ha



Over 9 hours in the car and still a happy baby!!!



When we got back to Utah we picked Korv up from my parents house and headed home:) we bought this tool set for Korv at the street fair and he was so excited when we gave it to him!



The first thing he wanted to work on is his four wheeler:)
After 9 hours in the car we are happy to be home!
