My family and I drove up yesterday for my grandpa's viewing. Today was the funeral. It was fun to hear all the memories and stories of my grandpa.

It turned out to be a pretty nice day.
Our whole family (except Joseph) yea my cousin is not the best picture taker, as you can see, there is a huge arm in the way. oh well you get the idea:)

Later we went back to my grandparents house and the grand kids got to choose something out of all the trinkets my grandma had. She had so many.
And here is even more of them:)Everything turned out so good. I had such a peaceful feeling all day, cause I know he is where he needs to be. We love you grandpa and are so glad we had you as long as we did.

That is so special Britt. I was thinking about you all day. My Grandpa collected trinkets too. He had this "critter tree" that he put all these little things on. It was my favorite part of seeing my grandpa when I was little.
Thanks for sharing that with us. I'm sure it was a hard day. Knowing Zsa was in a better place made it a little easier, but it doesn't change the fact that I miss her. I'm sure it's the same with your grandpa. It's so awesome that he got to be on this earth for so many years. I had no idea your dad came from such a big family. That was fun to see. Your belly is getting bigger! I can't wait to see Korver!!! We love you Brit, and we'll be praying for your family.
Britt I am so sorry! No one has even told me that your grandpa died! Please let me know if you need anything! We will be praying for you! You look absolutely beautiful! I am getting really excited to see Korver! :)
