One Thing I Miss

Well the one thing I miss is my family. Everyone went to St George to go boating over Memorial weekend. Here are a few pics of the twins, Addy and Eric they are getting so big. They are going to be HUGE when I get home. I MISS YOU ALL!!! Look at Erics Cute front teeth:)They are so cute:):)

Windows Broken in

Well last night there were about 3-6 cars that were broken into. 3 of them were people from Platinum. Jordan and Brittany got their GPS and their IPod adapter stolen, Alex one of our techs had his Laptop stolen and another tech Derek had his GPS stolen too. Derek caught the guy breaking into his car and started chasing him. Derek was leaving today and had all of his belongings in his car, but luckily the thief only took his GPS.

I guess some guy thinks its people that live in these apartments. GOOD!!!!!! That is the one thing that makes me nervous, its not like we can pack up and move somewhere else so we just have to stay here with the little car thief's. One thing that makes me feel good is my can of pepper spray of course and that fact that our Highlander has an alarm. If it goes off our keys start to beep:) We are sneaky. No one will want to break into our car or Joseph will be out there in a matter of seconds and they will get maced with pepper spray:)

Little Stash

So I tell Joseph to fill up his water bottles after he uses one so this does not happen.(see picture below:) Of course when the time come to go to sleep he wants a cold bottle of water and once he is done drinking it he just adds it to his little stash:) Good thing I refill them for him or one day there would be no more cold water bottles left:) What would men do without us :) :)

Lettuce Wraps Anyone???

I love this place so much. I could go and just order the lettuce wraps and be satisfied:)
My favorite part is how HUGE the lettuce is:) I swear they are not this HUGE in Utah:)

I am not going to lie I thought Adam was going to win American Idol because there are a lot of crazy people out there that love the screaming kill um up beat um up music. But I am so GLAD that Kris won he totally deserved it:):)

Dancing with the Stars

Well I am not to happy about the winner of Dancing with the Stars, I really wanted Melissa and Toni to win. But I guess 3rd and making it to the finals is better than nothing:):)
P.S. Wouldn't these two be the cutest couple???? I think they should hook up:)

Waxing and Flip Flops:)

Today in the office Casey and I did a little waxing:)

Here is Casey doing her arms:) I know I look like a I got my wisdom teeth out and like I just got my lips botoxed but I really just got my lip waxed:) HA HA

So while I was at Wal-Mart today my flip flop broke. That is the worst!!!!! Everyone was starring at me as I am walking bare foot in the store to the shoe idle so I can buy new ones:)

Whataburger and Crazy Story

Well for those of you don't know I say the word "WADDA" sometimes and guess what is here in San Antonio???? Whataburger:) Everyone says when they drive pass the burger place they think of me saying Wadda:) I am going to have to try it out while I am here:)So last night Curtiss, Ginger, Jason, Casey, Joseph and I went to eat out at this Mexican Restaurant Pericos. Ginger is flying back to Utah tomorrow for her brothers wedding and wanted to eat at a good Mexican place before she left.

CRAZY STORY!!!! Well on the way home from dinner Joseph stops in the middle of the road and says, "There is something wrong" I look over to the other side of the road and there is a guy pulling a girl out of the driver side of a car. Once the girl was out of the car the guy jumped in and drove off leaving the girl. So I jumped out and ran over to her and offered to take her where she needed to go. She didn't want to come at first but I finally got her to come with Joseph and I. As we drove her to a store to meet her sister she told us that her and her boyfriend got in an argument and he puncher her in the face and then pulled her out of the car. POOR GIRL!!!! We dropped her off then headed home. CRAZY!!!!!

Frisbee :)

On Sunday I made taco soup for all the married couples out here and then a ton of the office went to this park and played Frisbee. It was fun

Weekend dinner

We did not get our dinner goal this week but we still went out:) and boy was it good:):) We went to Kona Grill and the food was really yummy:)

The sushi was good and my dinner was even better:)

I am so excited to try more places out here, so far every place has been good but nothing beats Bahama Breeze:)

College Station

Well on Friday my cousin Chad had his graduation from Texas A & M. Since I hardly ever see him and his family I decided a 3 hour drive is way better then a 21 hour drive from Utah. So I took a little road trip out to meet them:)

Here we are taken pics outside, getting ready to sit through the 2 hour graduation. :)

We kept ourselves entertained by listening to and trying to say all the foreign names that were said.

On Sat morning we went to a really good restaurant called Madden. The food was great:)

Of course our first big rain storm in Texas since we have been here had to be when I was headed home:( I could not see a thing and I think I Hydroplaned most of the way. It was scary. But I made it safely, so that was nice:)

BWA!! For two years!

So most of you will probably be thinking, "What is he doing with his hand?" Well in the Griffin family we do this hand gesture and say BWA or HWA!! I know we are weird but its fun. Anyway our cousin Jordan left for the MTC today and will be going to Indianapolis, Indiana for two years. We are all going to miss him so much, but he is going to be one of the most AMAZING missionaries ever. Jord we love you so much and we hope you never forget it:) BWA!!!!!!!!

Funny Story

For this story you probably had to be there to think it is funny, but I am going to tell it anyway. When we first got to our apt about a week ago our fridge was so loud. Of course Joseph could not get use to it so one day he tried to rig something up so it would stop rattling. Well if you cant tell he put a cup in the back and it worked...... for about two sec, then he moved on to the can of corn that worked too........for about three sec. So finally we called the maintenance guy to come out. I just sat on the couch laughing the whole time he was trying to find something that worked:) HE HE you had to be there:)

Where did the 2 years go?

Well yesterday was our anniversary. We have been married for 2 years now. CRAZY!!! These past two years have flown by. We have done a lot since we have been married, we have lived in three different states; Florida, Virginia and now Texas. I have graduated school and we are about to get a house:) So exciting:) It has been such a fun ride with Joseph and I am very grateful that I was able to marry such a hardworking and lovable guy:)
I love you Joseph and am very blessed to be your wife I am excited and cant wait to see what the next two more years hold for us:)

P.S. Since Joseph and I are not the type to plan huge things we just hung out together last night and that was just what I wanted. Since I am not able to post my wedding pics I had to find a pic I had access to here in Texas:):)

CRAZY!!

So is it just me or is this the first time you have seen or heard of a washer and dryer out side on a balcony???? I personally think it is weird, if you drop your clothes transferring them from the washer to the dryer, which I do often:) you HAVE to wash it again cause it falls on the dirty cement. Anyway I just thought it was crazy, but it is defiantly better than having no washer and dryer at all so I am happy:)

Last night (mon) we had family home evening with the office. We had a lesson, some yummy treats Britt B made and then we played spoons again. It was a lot of fun, I think we are starting a new tradition:) Spoons every Monday:)

A day in the Office

So today in the office the wives came over to visit me again, they are all so nice and sweet. This summer is going to be so much fun with them.
