Home Sweet Home

Well next week my family is going to Lake Powlle so my brother, Tyler, sister-in-law, Talisha, Joseph and I took the boat out on Saturday to Utah lake to make sure everything was OK before we went on our trip:)
I forgot my camera so I took this with my phone its a little blurry:) Joseph has been waiting all summer to come home and go wake boarding. He was loving it.

Zsa 1930-2009

Joseph's grandma passed away last Friday night so we drove home early to make it to her Funeral.
Zsa had the cutest accent that I am going to miss so much.

All of her grandsons were the pallbearers, they all looked so good in their suits.

It was a hard day, but we were all so blessed to have Zsa as long as we did. We are glade she is not in pain anymore.

We love you and miss you ZSA!!!!!!!

Heading Home and Visiting Jordan

On Sat morning before my family left New York Joseph's Dad DeLoy called and told us some sad news. Zsa, Joseph's Grandma had passed away so we had to pack up the day my family left and drive back to Utah.
On our way home we stopped in Indiana where our cousin Jordan is serving his mission.

We took him and his comps out for breakfast.

It was so good to see him:)

It was so good to be able to see him one more time before he comes home. We sure miss him:)

Before we left Joseph and I stopped at a farm and hand picked our own corn to take home:)

So fun. I have had such a crazy but AMAZING summer with Joseph. It has been such an adventure to be able to travel every where with Joseph. I love it and would not trade anything for it:)

Family Came To Visit!!

Last Wed My mom dad and brother-in-law Nate came and visited Joseph and I in New York. That night we went to the temple to do a session. After we had the opportunity to do some sealings and it was such a neat experience.

The temple there is very pretty.

The middle window that you see in this picture is called the Hinckley window. When they were building this temple, were you see the windows was where offices were suppose to be. When President Hinckley saw the plans he said that the office was to be taken out and made into a hallway. This was because these windows look out to the Sacred Grove. The middle window is the only window in the temples in all the world that was made clear so you could see straight out to the Grove.

All around the grounds were BEAUTIFUL flowers.

In the Palmyra Temple you have to have your own clothes so my mom brought me some out so I would be able to go with them. I got this bag to put all my stuff in, Its so cute I love it:)

On Thursday we went and saw the Smith's house and farm and the Sacred Grove. You will not believe it but I saw my friend Jen there (she is serving a mission in New York) She was in Student Government with me at Dixie:) She is so cute I love her.

Friday, We drove to Kirtland to see all the Church's sits there. This time I was able to go inside the temple. It was amazing how much work they put into it.

N.K. Whitney kept record of everyone that bought stuff from his store. Both sides of my family came in Israel Barlow from my moms side and Ebenezer Robinson on my dads side:)

This is one of the 4 places in Kirtland the Savior and Heavenly Father appeared.

Then we went to the Johnson's Farm, They were a very wealthy family. As you can see from their decorated fireplace. They made butter and cheese. In this house was another place Heavenly Father and Jesus appeared

When Joseph and Emma stayed with the Johnson's this is where they slept. Joseph was dragged from this bed and tared and feathered.

ON Sunday we drove up to Canada to see Niagara Falls. It was so pretty.

They had some fun shops to see .

Monday my family flew back home. It was so fun to have my family come visit. Love you guys thanks for coming:)
